Scottish designer Siobhan Mackenzie is known for reimagining Highland dress through a bold, contemporary lens – blending traditional craftsmanship with sculptural silhouettes, couture detailing and modern Scottish identity.
Over the past decade, her designs have been worn by names including Justin Bieber, Jared Leto & Alan Cumming for The Traitors, while her recent work includes the official tartan & opening ceremony looks for Team Scotland at the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Presented as part of Kimpton Charlotte Square’s Artist in Residence programme, the exhibition brings together selected works from across Mackenzie’s career alongside a new collection created in partnership with Kenneth Mackenzie Ltd, celebrating 120 years of the oldest operating Harris Tweed mill.

The exhibition also features archive material from the mill, including original correspondence from Vivienne Westwood requesting Harris Tweed fabrics, alongside looks created for Sam Heughan’s Outlander Season 8 premiere & Team Scotland’s 2026 Commonwealth Games flag bearers. Together, the exhibition explores Scottish heritage through a modern lens – where fashion, craft and cultural identity meet.
